Something with circular economy
Vision & problem statement
With the rise of cellular agriculture, humanity is at the brink of entering a new era of safety and prosperity. Unrestricted food security could soon become a reality around the globe. Yet, a few challenges remain to be solved.
Our solution
We want to use side and waste streams from novel food processes to produce biomass and thereby added value. At the same time, we aim to (at least partially) recover the waste. In a further step, we also want to consider downstream processing to yield valuable biomolecules.
About the team
So far, we are an economy student, a mechanical- and a process engineer. Our aim is to develop skills in transitioning an idea into a business concept. We want to integrate the knowledge we gained in our studies to something that actually brings humanity further.
